Created in July 10th of 2002, the Navegar Foundation has the objective of promotion and development of culture, arts and scientific knowledge, especially in the area of Espinho, as well as the support of educative actions, formation and leisure that fit in the same fields. Besides the general objectives already mentioned, the Foundation has specific tasks, like assuring the management of Centro Multimeios of Espinho, as well as other scientific and cultural equipments of audiovisual promotion or any other property that is given to them.
